last night, a few of us went to Barcelona for hreem's birthday dinner #1. it was good food and not expensive at all. Barcelona has become such a popular place; even at 6:15 it was packed. then we went back to nainesh's decked out apartment and watched 3 episodes of entourage. i decided that i didn't want to sleep alone in my apartment, so i went to anoop's apartment to sleep (no, he's not here). it's nice to have a change of scenery and more importantly, to have central AC. i had a nice conversation with his roomates about my views on money and such, a topic which was sparked by a conversation anoop and i had about our different viewpoints on money. i'm not sure what i really want, so i've been thinking and re-evaluating.

this morning, i woke up early to go play tennis with brayden and felipe. i realized just how out of shape i am. i have no strength in my arms, my backhand is capoot and my stamina is horrible. i really hope i get on the ball and get in shape this year...but somehow, between MCATs and RA and classes, i don't think it's gonna happen.

i have work today from 3-11pm at Pearl Express. i hope it's a little bit busier because it's soooo boring when there's no business. i feel really bad for randolph cuz he's trying so hard. he really wants to please the customers and he's all about service. it's just that his location is not so great and it's hard to compete against the more established, nicer, and bigger St. Louis Bubble Tea. shit, it's even hard to compete against its name. if the place was bigger, i would like working there more. my wage at Pearl Express is not as much as at American Eagle, but when you factor in tip, it pays more. and tips don't get taxed.

well, i'm gonna go try and keep cool.
